ROLLING ROAD / DYNO 

Whilst PPL tuning takes every precaution to insure incident free vehicle testing, we must notify you of the following points as it is essential that you understand that :

I. It is the customers responsibility to ensure oil and water levels have been checked prior to testing to ensure the car is in suitable condition for power testing on our dyno / rolling road

II. Engine failures during testing are an extremely rare occurrence but not completely guaranteed to not happen. It is essential that the vehicles engine condition is in good mechanical condition as the rolling road / dyno imposes no more than road going conditions on the engine. 

III. As it would in normal road use, engine failure could occur for a number of reasons. For example, Cam Belt Failure, Faulty cooling system, lack of maintenance etc. We ask that the mechanical condition is verified to be healthy before such testing as PPL TUNING LTD takes no liability should any damage and/or failure occurs.  

PART SUPPLY

I. WE DO NOT TAKE LIABILITY ON FAILED PARTS PROVIDED BY CUSTOMERS. Parts provided by customers are installed on behalf of them. This leaves liability to customers for repair or replacement. We recommend any parts to be installed be supplied and fitted by PPL TUNING LTD direct. 

II. If a part was to fail and it was supplied and fitted by us, the parts are subject to 1 year manufacturers warranty. We would provide you a new part after we declare it was the fault of work conducting under our authority which will become apparent according to our diagnostic outcome. ANY ALTERCATION TO THE UNITS SUPPLIED OR ATTEMPTED REPAIR OUTSIDE OF PPL TUNING LTD WILL VOID THIS WARRANTY. 

III. If we remap a vehicle and you proceed to install performance parts from parties un-related to PPL TUNING LTD, liability for the parts we install will transfer to the vehicle owner as we will no longer be sure of the compatibility nor condition of parts when new installations occur.

REMAPPING / PERFORMANCE PARTS / MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR

I. We must notify that any modification to ECU’s or parts differing from the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts that come from factory with your vehicle WILL VOID WARRANTY. This is because it is altering the original state of the vehicle which your vehicle is covered with under your manufacturers warranty. 

II. Though we conduct a Health Check prior to remapping vehicles, we reserve the right to refuse to tune / remap a vehicle on the basis of the engine and vehicle health not being feasible for altercation after the test. No warranty is given or implied to components or your vehicle neither before or after we remap your vehicle nor do we accept liability for mechanical failure during or after the tuning process. We do not provide refunds

III. It is important to understand that mechanical failure of components are a possibility and that PPL TUNING LTD does not provide any warranty over such parts. We must make apparent that post-tuning, the car is being pushed at a much harder capacity, so weak points of your car will become apparent. Following this, you must ensure your maintenance is kept up to date! Regular oil top ups, quality fuel (99 Octane is the only fuel we advise unless told otherwise by our Technitian) and mechanical check ups regularly to make sure the car is all running well. We advise all issues to be addressed prior to tuning. 

IV. We do not take liability got mechanical nor electric parts inclusive of the following :: Turbos, Clutches, Gearboxes, DPF, Boost Leaks (Boost Pipes) as they are serviceable and will endure more demand more work when tuned. This will only be troublesome where it is in bad condition upon arrival. Stages 1,2 and 3 are beyond recommended scope of tolerance on engines and we push with the remaps.

V. All figures produced by our DimSport rolling road (as specified in Section 1) are subject to environmental factors which will have affect on dyno readings. This may cause differing figures if you were to dyno at a different company. But we vouch for its accuracy and consistency as it is regulated tests we conduct. 

VI. For any adjustment for the map or putting the vehicle back to its factory state (both ECU and Performance mods) – we abide by such requests. However, it is down to the customer to bring their vehicle back to the unit as we do not provide mobile nor remote tuning services. If the vehicle has altercations (which affect our work) to performance mods or ECU, we reserve the right for refusal of restoration as we did not conduct the additional work.

VII. Post remapping we recommend regularly interval servicing to insure that the vehicle is running at its best capacity. Failure to do so may lead to future failures in parts or a ‘rough running’ drive. Where this is the case for leading to mechanical failure VOIDS WARRANTY IF SUPPLIED BY US

VIII. Post remap, the customer is entitled to a single revision of their tune in the first week of the cars return. This entails : Adjustment to Pops and Bangs if tuned in by us, power adaptation within reason* or removal of tune in its entirety. After this one revision, they will proceed to hold £300.00 charge per session. 

* Reasons pertain to, but are not limited to : Underperformance, Cars responsiveness is abnormal, there is complications with the software and the runnings of the car. All has to be assessed by PPL TUNING, which upon successful diagnosis, the work / alteration can continue.
